When the city slows and the lights soften, The Medlock continues to move with intention, care and quiet confidence. Our nights are just as important as our days - and we're looking for a Night Manager who understands how to create a reassuring, seamless experience long after the sun goes down.

The Medlock, a Radisson Blu hotel, is opening at the heart of Manchester's Etihad Campus, home to Manchester City Football Club. This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally. The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world-class 60,000-seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world. The new hotel will be at the centre of this dynamic environment, providing an exceptional place for guests, teams and fans to stay and experience everything the campus has to offer.

As the senior leader overnight, you'll be the steady presence our guests and team rely on. Someone who leads with warmth, stays composed under pressure and represents The Medlock with professionalism and grace.

About the Role:

As Night Manager, you'll take ownership of the hotel's entire overnight operation. You'll ensure guests feel safe, supported and genuinely looked after, while guiding your team with clarity and purpose. You'll set the tone for the night: calm, attentive, quietly confident and deeply guest-focused.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the Night Team with confidence and care, ensuring a warm, reassuring and high-quality service experience for every guest.
  • Manage arrivals, queries and requests with professionalism, whilst maintaining security through diligent checks and adherence to hotel procedures.
  • Manage staffing and payroll in line with business needs, while leading, training and developing your team to foster a culture rooted in pride, clarity and belonging.
  • Uphold all Health & Safety, Fire, Security and PCI standards, ensuring seamless communication into the daytime operation through clear, considered handovers.

What's in it for you?

  • Join the pre-opening team for a high-profile launch within one of Manchester's most exciting developments.
  • Be part of a dynamic, fun and engaging team focused on delivering exceptional experiences from day one.
  • Work closely with City Football Group, Valor Hospitality and Radisson Hotel Group benefiting from strong support while retaining local ownership and autonomy within the wider hotel team.

About you:

  • A calm, confident leader who thrives in a guest-facing role.
  • Lead with heart, speak with honesty, handle pressure with confidence and deliver a memorable presence with a touch of individuality.
  • Possess the natural ability to reassure, support and take decisive action when required - a team builder who leads with integrity, kindness and professionalism.
  • A strong communicator, and keen collaborator, you are a dependable, grounded presence for your team with a sense of belonging and connection to the city's identity.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, Front Office or a similar leadership position, ideally in a premium or lifestyle property.

In addition to competitive rates of pay, we also offer:

  • Exclusive discounts for you, your friends and family.
  • Valor team member rates at our UK hotels, with rooms from just £30 B&B.
  • Discounted stays for friends and family.
  • 50% discount when dining in our restaurants and bars.
  • Free meals while on duty, keeping you well-fuelled.
  • Access to high-street discounts on a range of shops, experiences and more.
  • Up to 40% savings on a wide range of bikes, with our Cycle To Work Scheme.
  • Generous refer-a-friend bonuses, starting at £250.
  • Caring for your health and wellbeing, both in and outside of work.
  • A calendar of wellness activities from healthy lunches to wellbeing walks and pay day treats, not forgetting our annual #HealthyHabits campaign.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme, providing free confidential advice, 24/7, for you and your family, supporting physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
  • Healthcare Cash Plan options, from just £5 per month.
