Kitchen Porter - voco Zeal Exeter Science Park

£12.21 Per Hour, Occasional Worker (Zero Hours)

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. You will work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
2. Assisting with the preparation of ingredients and supporting the chefs during food preparation.
3. Handling and storing food in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations.
4. Maintaining the inventory of kitchen supplies and informing management when items are low.
5. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared and delivered promptly and to standards.
6. Following all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
7. Properly disposing of waste and recycling whenever possible.

We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, offering flexible shifts. Our busiest times are during evenings and weekends, but shift patterns and contracted hours are flexible and can be discussed at interview.
