We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at Valor Hospitality Careers UK. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, working closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients and support the chefs during food preparation.
- Handle and store food in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain the inventory of kitchen supplies and inform management when items are low in stock.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared and delivered promptly and according to standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Dispose of waste properly and recycle whenever possible.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Working Hours & Flexibility
We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days. Shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed during the interview. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends.
