The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious recruitment or executive search professional to help lead and build our Insurance practice. This is not a pure Talent Acquisition role. We are looking for a commercially minded producer who can manage senior candidates, take talent to market, originate opportunities, build client relationships and deliver retained search work end to end.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering retained executive search mandates across Insurance
- Managing the full search lifecycle from client briefing to placement
- Building senior candidate relationships across all verticals within Insurance
- Taking high-quality candidates to market to generate new business
- Developing new client relationships across Insurance and adjacent Financial Services markets
- Building talent maps, market intelligence and leadership pipelines
- Representing Valmont Talent with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Helping shape the growth of a specialist practice within a well-capitalised search firm
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an ambitious, experienced recruitment professional who comes from either:
- A 360 recruitment firm
- An Executive Search firm
- A specialist Insurance, Financial Services or regulated markets recruitment background
You should be confident in business development, candidate-led origination, senior stakeholder management and full-cycle delivery.
The right person will likely have:
- A proven track record in recruitment or executive search
- Experience working with senior candidates and clients
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to generate new business
- A background in Insurance, Financial Services or another regulated market
- The ambition to build a practice, not simply inherit a desk
- The credibility to operate with senior executives, founders and investors
