A leading company in the luxury cosmetics sector, with a presence across several European countries and headquartered in Barcelona, is seeking a Beauty Advisor for VALMONT in Harrods – London. This role combines creative and technical expertise with a passion for luxury beauty, providing an inviting, inspiring, and personalized in-store experience that engages and delights our clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a brand ambassador with a polished appearance and positive attitude at all times.
- Demonstrate a commitment to learning fundamental product knowledge (features, benefits, application) and application techniques to deliver the best results for clients.
- Maintain store quality and merchandising, ensuring cleanliness, compliance with merchandising guidelines, and shelf product availability.
- Manage and monitor the stock at the counter effectively.
- Identify customer needs and recommend skincare products based on their preferences and requirements.
- Explain product usage to customers interested in making a purchase.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (except Christmas Day).
- Proficient use of POS software and other digital systems necessary for smooth counter operations.
- Convey passion, master storytelling and build connections, offering solutions and high-quality after-sales service.
Qualifications & Soft Skills
- Fluent in English. Chinese is a plus.
- Highly detail-oriented, confident, professional sales personality who embraces challenges and understands retail.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong passion for exceptional customer experience.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about luxury products.
- Previous experience in a retail environment with a genuine interest in the beauty industry.
