Manual and in good physical shape and love to operate production machinery such as saws, shears, drill presses, etc.? Are you meticulous and interested in painting parts with electrostatic powder paint? We have the perfect day labourer position for you!
Duties and responsibilities
- Operate various production machines such as saws, shears, drill presses, etc.
- Prepare parts for painting (liquid and electrostatic)
- Paint parts with electrostatic powder paint
- Remove parts from skeletons using the laser
- Visually inspect the quality of parts and measure them against the templates
- Help support the activities of other departments
- Perform all other production-related tasks as required
Additional Information
- Compressed schedule to take advantage of Friday afternoons off
- Up to 5 weeks of vacation per year, including 3 weeks of vacation upon being hired
- Be able to lift, carry, push, and pull loads manually up to 50 lbs
- Perform movements involving flexion, extension, or torsion of the lumbar spine to execute certain tasks
- Work in a crouched position for certain tasks
- Be able to transport raw materials and finished products using lifting equipment
- Overhead crane operator card (asset)
