Vally Plant Training is a family-run training provider based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. Established in 2014, we deliver NPORS plant training, testing and NVQ assessments for businesses and individuals, both at our training centre and on client sites across the UK.

We’re looking for an experienced NPORS Instructor to join our team. It’s a varied role for someone who takes pride in helping people build practical skills and work safely. You’ll deliver training and assessments at our centre and travel to customer sites as required.

The role
/n
You’ll deliver engaging, professional and compliant training and assessments across the NPORS categories you’re qualified to teach. You’ll work with candidates with different levels of experience, from novices learning a machine for the first time to experienced operators completing a test.
/n
We’re particularly interested in instructors qualified in categories such as:
/n
/n
- 360 Excavator
/n
- Forward Tipping Dumper
/n
- Telehandler
/n
- Ride-on Roller
/n
- Slinger Signaller
/n
- Plant or Vehicle Banksman/Marshal
/n
- Excavator as a Crane
/n
- Other relevant NPORS categories
/n
/n

You’ll also keep training records up to date, maintain your professional competence and help ensure that courses meet the standards expected by NPORS, CITB and our customers.

About you
/n
We’re looking for someone who:
/n
/n
- Holds current NPORS instructor and, where applicable, assessor qualifications
/n
- Has strong practical experience in plant operations or a related industry
/n
- Can confidently train and assess candidates with varied experience
/n
- Communicates clearly and presents information in an engaging way
/n
- Is organised, reliable and professional
/n
- Takes health, safety and compliance seriously
/n
- Maintains their CPD and keeps their industry knowledge current
/n
- Is happy to travel to customer sites when required
/n
- Holds additional relevant instructor or training qualifications, which would be an advantage
/n
/n
