A leading international energy company is looking for an Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of renewable generation and battery energy storage (BESS) assets across the UK & Ireland. This London-based role will focus on optimising asset performance, managing commercial agreements, and ensuring safe and efficient operations across wind, solar and energy storage projects.
Location: London (with some UK travel)
Salary: up to 95k
Car Allowance: £6,000
Bonus: up to 15% + excellent benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operational and commercial performance of renewable and BESS assets
- Work with trading and commercial teams to maximise asset value
- Oversee key contracts including O&M agreements and service arrangements
- Manage maintenance programmes, budgets and asset optimisation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards
- Support the commissioning and handover of new renewable and storage projects
- Manage relationships with partners, contractors and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience in renewable energy, power generation or energy infrastructure
- Strong understanding of asset management, operations or technical performance of energy assets
- Experience managing contracts, suppliers and operational budgets
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
- Engineering or relevant technical background preferred
