Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Training & Capability Build Manager to support a large-scale, multi-year AI and technology-enabled regulatory change programme for a global pharmaceutical client. This role will work as part of a large, established programme team, collaborating closely with Programme Management, Change, Communications, Learning, and Technology workstreams. The focus will be on building capability, skills, and behaviours to support new processes, technologies, and ways of working, using an iterative, pilot-led approach to training. The role is hands-on and strategic, covering training design, delivery, effectiveness measurement, and integration with change and communications activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish scope, objectives, and ways of working with key stakeholders, including:
- Capability Project Managers
- Programme Change and Communications Leads
- Change Managers and Learning Managers
- Define and implement appropriate training tools, templates, and methodologies, including:
- Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Training plans and delivery approaches
- Conduct detailed Training Needs Analyses to identify skills and capability gaps across relevant user groups
- Work closely with change managers and workstreams to understand pilot and future rollout requirements
- Develop workstream-level training plans and materials, using inputs from:
- Change Impact Assessments (CIAs)
- Capability Project Managers
- Define and track clear metrics to assess training effectiveness and adoption
- Use insights to refine training content and approaches for pilot and wider rollout phases
- Create or contribute to a Change, Communications, and Learning Playbook
- Capture client and Moorhouse best practices and lessons learned from pilots
- Help establish a strong foundation for future phases and rollouts (H1 2026 and beyond)
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in training, capability build, and learning design within large change or transformation programmes
- Experience working on technology-enabled or regulatory change programmes
- Proven ability to deliver training in an iterative, pilot-led environment
- Experience working closely with Change, Comms, Learning, and Programme teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to translate complex technology, AI, and process changes into clear learning outcomes
- Experience measuring training effectiveness and adoption metrics
- Exposure to AI-enabled or advanced technology programmes
- Experience working in Pharma or other highly regulated industries
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile environments
- Experience supporting multi-year transformation programmes
