Required Skills and Experience

Experience in ServiceNow Implementations: Proven experience managing testing activities in at least one full lifecycle of a ServiceNow implementation or upgrade project.
Testing Expertise: Strong background in various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, integration, regression, UAT, performance) and knowledge of test management tools like Jira, ALM, or ServiceNow Test Management.
Leadership and Team Management: Experience leading test teams and managing internal and external resources across different phases of the testing lifecycle.
Defect Management Skills: Proficiency in managing defects, using defect tracking tools, and facilitating defect triage meetings.
Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, ServiceNow Automated Test Framework) and the ability to manage or oversee automation testing initiatives.
Stakeholder Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and report testing progress and risks to business leaders, developers, and project managers.
Documentation: Strong documentation skills for producing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and reports.
Risk Management: Ability to identify risks related to testing and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Expertise in Azure DevOps: Experience in utilizing Azure DevOps for test case management, test execution, and reporting as well as utilizing automated testing processes within Azure DevOps pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or higher certifications like ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification or equivalent.

Experience with ITIL: Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly in the context of ServiceNow\’s ITSM modules (e.g., incident management, change management, problem management).

Agile/DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in integrating testing with Agile or DevOps processes.
