A bit about us: Founded in 2015, Vallum has grown into a global talent solutions business operating across:
- Energy & Utilities
- Engineering & Renewables
- Commodities & Financial Services
- Technology
- MEP/FP Engineering
We’ve had a record-breaking year, expanded internationally, built specialist delivery teams, launched new business ventures and continue to invest heavily in our people. But what we’re most proud of is our culture. We’re ambitious without the arrogance, we’re high performing without the unnecessary politics, we’re collaborative without losing accountability.
Your role: This role sits at the heart of our growth strategy. You’ll be responsible for attracting, engaging and hiring the people who will define Vallum’s future.
- Find exceptional people: Build relationships with recruitment professionals across the market. You’ll know who is looking, who isn’t looking and who we’d love to have a conversation with.
- Become an ambassador for the Vallum brand: You’ll be one of the first people candidates meet. Working with our marketing team, you’ll bring our story to life, showcase what makes Vallum different, and create an experience that people remember.
- Own the hiring process: From sourcing and attraction through to interviews, offers and onboarding, you’ll create an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring that every hire strengthens both our performance and culture.
- Build pipelines: You’ll proactively map markets, build future pipelines and develop relationships before a vacancy exists.
- Keep things moving: You’ll ensure that relevant references are taken where required, write compelling job descriptions, and provide summaries of suitable candidates for interview.
You’ll be someone who:
- Has experience in recruitment, internal talent acquisition or Rec2Rec recruitment
- Loves building relationships and connecting with people
- Is naturally curious
- Takes ownership, accountability and follows through on commitments
- Builds trust quickly and communicates with confidence
- Enjoys working with ambitious people who push each other to do more, be more and earn more
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
Most importantly you’ll care about finding the right people. The people who thrive here tend to have four things in common:
- They own it. They take accountability and follow through.
- They win together. They’re team players who celebrate shared success and understand that great businesses are built collaboratively.
- They want more. They’re always looking for ways to improve themselves, the work they do and those around them.
- They bring the heat. They show up with energy, ambition and a genuine desire to make a difference every day.
If that sounds like you, you’ll probably feel right at home here.
What we offer:
- Competitive base salary
- Performance-based bonus scheme
- Hybrid working
- Early finish every Friday
- 25 days holiday + birthday off
- Workplace pension scheme
- Incentive trips and rewards

- A genuinely supportive and collaborative environment
- Initial 6 month Fixed-term contract, however we are expecting continuous growth across the business so there is an opportunity for this being extended for the right person.
The opportunity: This role is perfect for someone who loves recruitment but wants to make a bigger impact than simply making placements. You’ll have a direct influence on who joins Vallum, how we grow, and what the future of our business looks like.
