The Role
Drive enterprise data governance / retention / BigID capabilities, enabling compliance, data visibility and scalable implementation across complex data ecosystems.
Your responsibilities:
- Define and implement enterprise data retention policies and lifecycle frameworks
- Translate regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA) into actionable rules
- Drive dataset prioritisation and risk-based retention strategy
- Develop user stories and workflows for retention execution
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders
- Support data classification and mapping aligned to retention logic
- Define treatment actions (archive, delete, retain)
- Govern approval workflows and retention execution
- Ensure auditability and regulatory compliance
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong experience in data retention, governance, or privacy
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
- Experience with BigID or similar tools
- Stakeholder management across business and IT
- Experience in BFSI/Insurance domain
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Exposure to Snowflake or data platforms
