The Role

Drive enterprise data governance / retention / BigID capabilities, enabling compliance, data visibility and scalable implementation across complex data ecosystems.

Your responsibilities:

  • Define and implement enterprise data retention policies and lifecycle frameworks
  • Translate regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA) into actionable rules
  • Drive dataset prioritisation and risk-based retention strategy
  • Develop user stories and workflows for retention execution
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders
  • Support data classification and mapping aligned to retention logic
  • Define treatment actions (archive, delete, retain)
  • Govern approval workflows and retention execution
  • Ensure auditability and regulatory compliance

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Strong experience in data retention, governance, or privacy
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Experience with BigID or similar tools
  • Stakeholder management across business and IT
  • Experience in BFSI/Insurance domain

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Exposure to Snowflake or data platforms
  • Knowledge of DSPM / governance tools
