The Role: Jira SME - Administration, Configuration

Location: Sheffield, UK

Position Type: Contract Inside IR35

Implementation Partner – TCS / HSBC

Remote work option Available: Hybrid (2 Days onsite in a week)

Job Description:

  • Deep technical proficiency in the Atlassian Jira, Confluence, JSM and apps.
  • Key skills include managing workflows, permissions, issue types, fields, automations, integrations, and automations.
  • Hands-on experience in Atlassian Data Centre and Cloud products.
  • Atlassian Data Centre products Jira, Confluence, JSM and apps migration to Atlassian Cloud.
  • Experience in standardizing and governing the Jira and Confluence services at Enterprise level.
  • Expertise in agile delivery, including Scrum and Kanban ways of project delivery.
  • Experience in Incident, problem and change management.
  • Automating the manual tasks to reduce the toil.
  • Improving the service resiliency.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Active contribution in the Atlassian Cloud migration work.
  • Define the standards by applying best practices on tasks and project tracking, collaborative documentation i.e. Jira and Confluence services respectively.
  • Understand the User journeys and define/implement the governance process such as process to evaluate the apps, integrations, customizations etc. and approve/reject, onboarding processes.
  • Decision making considering the cost implications, user impact, system impact.
  • Contribution in defining the strategies, roadmap/milestones planning, OKRs.
  • Contribution to fix the technical debts, problem solving with proper RCA.
  • Customer/User and stakeholder Engagement.
  • Lead/drive the work in collaboration with the POD members.
  • Incident, problem, and change management.
