The complexity of building and maintaining ultra-low-latency platforms for trading and market data distribution is only increasing. You will work closely with trading desks and engineering teams to ensure that every solution meets the demands of scale, reliability and performance. The work underpins the integrity and competitiveness of the company’s trading operations.
Responsibility
- Design, develop and maintain large-scale, high-performance, high-throughput kdb+/q systems and real-time streaming time-series data infrastructure
- Build and support ultra-low-latency tick data capture pipelines, market data distribution systems and algorithmic trading order/execution data platforms
- Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable global technology solutions through close collaboration with trading desks and cross-functional engineering teams
- Perform rigorous performance tuning, troubleshooting and infrastructure optimization in Unix/Linux environments
- Support knowledge transfer, technical onboarding and regional business hour coverage to ensure continuous platform reliability
Requirement
- Proven experience in full stack software development within complex, enterprise-scale environments
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices and modern frontend development using React.js
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, integrating frontend applications with backend microservices and delivering end-to-end solutions
- Experience with GCP (preferred), Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and modernization of legacy enterprise platforms
