SCADA Engineer (Solar & BESS)
Location – Remote
Salary – Competitive
Our client are a market-leading Renewable Energy company based in the UK with global presence.
Responsibilities:
• Develop new SCADA designs, enhance current designs, and provide standard SCADA solutions.
• Offering cyber security solutions for sites
• Collaborating with subcontractors to provide designs for SCADA panels
• Owner of all communications and SCADA designs and paperwork
• Creating signal lists that include the necessary I/O, communications, and other signals.
• Drawing up network architecture and site-wide communications diagrams
• Battery, inverter, PPM/PPC, aggregator (plant commercial operator), tracker, PV optimiser, SCADA APIs for metering, and BESS system integration
• Perform field audits (FATs) on all SCADA and telecom panels.
• Increase the SCADA\’s business capability.
• Assisting subcontractors with any configuration of the HMI
• Aid in the commissioning of any SCADA systems.
• RTU setup owner.
