The Opportunity

  • You’ll join our Engineering division, a cornerstone of Vallum’s success, working across a market that continues to see sustained demand and long-term investment.
  • This role is ideal for a consultant who:
  • Enjoys owning and growing their desk
  • Wants flexibility to work perm, contract, or both (dual desking optional)
  • Is motivated by progression, earning potential, and being trusted to deliver

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Running a full 360 recruitment desk within Engineering, specifically the Power & Nuclear Space
  • Building and developing long-term client partnerships, existing and new
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes from business development through to delivery
  • Working on a busy contract desk, supporting active projects and existing clients
  • Contributing to a collaborative, high-performance culture

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a 360 Recruitment Consultant
  • Experience recruiting in a comparable contract industry (Energy, Construction, Rail)
  • Strong commercial awareness and relationship-led approach
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and driven to progress

Commission, Incentives & Rewards

  • Monthly commission with no threshold
  • Up to 45% commission on permanent placements
  • Up to 35% commission on contract placements
  • Dual desking optional, we won’t limit your opportunities to earn
