We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the development of renewable energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of the renewable energy landscape, project management expertise, and exceptional leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage, etc.) from concept to execution.
- Coordinate and manage all stages of the project development cycle, including feasibility studies, permitting, design, procurement, and construction.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with regulations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges that may arise during development.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and partners to secure the best terms for the project.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and emerging trends in the renewable energy sector.
- Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, local communities, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects adhere to sustainability goals, environmental impact standards, and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: A degree in engineering, environmental science, renewable energy, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project development, preferably in the renewable energy industry (solar, wind, or other renewables).
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, including budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with permitting and environmental regulations specific to renewable energy projects.
Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
