The role profile is: As part of an organisational-wide target operating model redesign, work with senior leaders to conduct organisation design reviews at a team, function and capability level across the organisation.
Specifically:
- Own, advise and support the application of evidence-informed, good practice organisation design principles, contributing to 'good work' and job design.
- Work with leaders and people colleagues, consulting and advising on organisation design.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and embedding of the organisation's operating model, maintaining a focus on strategic alignment in the application and realisation of organisation design.
- Lead and contribute to projects to understand, assess and develop organisational capabilities.
- Enable a people-centric approach to change by providing input and guidance on how leaders plan for and embed change within their teams.
- The role may also be involved in contributing to or leading organisation-wide projects related to leadership and talent development as well as culture and employee experience.
Essential criteria:
- Significant experience in leading organisation design.
- Good knowledge of OD best practice, approaches and tooling.
- Strong relationship building skills and experience of influencing and working effectively with senior stakeholders and other colleagues through facilitation, presentation, negotiation skills and where appropriate constructive challenge.
- Experience of designing and delivering organisation-wide initiatives successfully on time and to budget, demonstrating best practice in leadership development, ODD, culture, team development, HR and/or change through these.
Desirable criteria:
- Experience of working in charities.
