Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Data Governance Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives. This is a delivery-focused role, requiring strong implementation experience rather than advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive data governance implementation, including data ownership frameworks and accountability models
- Define and enforce data policies, standards, and data lifecycle processes
- Work closely with business teams to identify critical data assets and assign data owners
- Support and guide stakeholders with practical governance solutions (e.g., campaign data usage, compliance issues)
- Implement and manage data quality, access controls, and governance tools/catalogues
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Tech, Compliance, Business) to ensure data integrity and regulatory alignment
Required Experience
- Strong experience in data governance delivery / implementation (not advisory)
- Background in data governance, data quality, compliance, or similar hands-on roles
- Experience with data governance or data cataloguing tools
- Proven ability to define data ownership and implement governance processes with real-world examples
- Strong stakeholder management – ability to present, influence, and secure buy-in
- Experience working in digital transformation environments
