Responsibilities
- Size and design powertrains to meet vehicle attribute and market performance requirements.
- Analyze market benchmarks and technologies related to hybrid (PHEV/MHEV) and electric propulsion systems.
- Integrate powertrain hardware with vehicle systems, ensuring proper mechanical and power supply interfaces.
- Collaborate with software, electrical, and vehicle integration teams to define system requirements.
- Support the development of next-generation electrified propulsion systems.
Must Have
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with strong knowledge of mechanical design and powertrain sizing for automotive applications.
- Practical experience with powertrain systems and their operation.
- Strong project management, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze powertrain benchmarking data.
Good to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in powertrain mechanical sizing for BEV or hybrid vehicle applications.
