Job Description
Primary skills: QA Testing Automation, REXX, JCL, z/OS
Nice to have: Basic understanding of Ansible, Basic understanding of Batch Scheduling software (IBM Z Workload Scheduler, CA7 Workload Automation, Control-M, ZEKE)
Responsibilities:
- Write manual test cases and develop automation covering each case
- Write test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on requirements and specifications provided
- Perform workflow analysis and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, product owner and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of test cases and test automation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, uplifting it as per industry standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mainframe testing
- Strong knowledge of coding with REXX and JCL language
- Ability to perform application testing of a closed source product
- Knowledge of test automation tools, methodologies, and standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of Confluence and Jira
Nice to have:
- Ability to maintain control over project responsibilities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of banking industry
