Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Vulnerability Analyst to support a large energy sector client in strengthening their security posture. The role focuses on identifying, analysing, and managing security vulnerabilities across systems, infrastructure, and applications within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability scanning and security assessments across infrastructure, networks, and applications.
- Analyse vulnerability reports and prioritise remediation based on risk and business impact.
- Work closely with IT, infrastructure, and engineering teams to ensure vulnerabilities are resolved in a timely manner.
- Track and manage vulnerabilities through the full remediation lifecycle.
- Provide clear reports and updates to security teams and key stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of security best practices and compliance standards within the organisation.
- Assist with security monitoring, risk management, and incident response activities where required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Vulnerability Management, Cyber Security, or Security Operations roles.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Nessus, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of security vulnerabilities, risk assessment, and remediation processes.
- Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments (energy, utilities, finance, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate security risks clearly to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
