We are looking for an experienced TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management) Developer to join a high-performing Payments Technology team within Client. The role will focus on developing, enhancing, and supporting reconciliation and transaction monitoring solutions across the bank’s payments landscape.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SmartStream TLM, payment processing systems, and banking operations, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SmartStream TLM solutions for payment reconciliation and transaction lifecycle management.
  • Configure and support reconciliation workflows, matching rules, exceptions handling, and reporting within TLM.
  • Work on payment-related platforms covering SWIFT, CHAPS, Faster Payments, SEPA, and international payments.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for TLM applications.
  • Develop interfaces between TLM and upstream/downstream banking systems.
  • Participate in system integration testing, UAT support, and release deployments.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with Client architecture, security, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with SmartStream TLM development and configuration.
  • Good understanding of Payments domain within banking/financial services.
  • Experience with reconciliation processes, exception management, and transaction monitoring.
  • Knowledge of payment messaging standards including SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022.
  • Experience with SQL, Oracle, Unix/Linux scripting, and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with APIs, file-based integrations, and middleware technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production support and delivery environment.
