Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a passion for innovative building services design to lead electrical engineering across a variety of exciting projects. You’ll take ownership of design packages, guide junior engineers, and be the go-to expert in project meetings, site visits, and interdisciplinary coordination. From concept through delivery, you’ll drive high-quality, sustainable, and technically sound solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Develop calculations, drawings, and technical specs
- Oversee and mentor junior engineers
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines
- Ensure compliance with building regs, British Standards, and CIBSE guidelines
- Support renewable energy strategies and smart building systems
- Visit sites and maintain design intent through construction
What You Bring
- 4+ years' experience in building services design
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, IES, Amtech, Dialux, etc.
- Strong understanding of sustainability, safety, and industry standards
- Experience in leading teams and collaborating across disciplines
- Working toward CIBSE or IET chartership
