They are looking for a sharp, data-driven Junior to Mid-Level Operations Analyst to support their growing portfolio. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of market operations, data management, and grid flexibility ensuring that assets are successfully onboarded, market submissions are executed flawlessly, and settlements are managed with absolute precision.

Customer & Asset Onboarding: Guide new clients and their assets through the registration pipeline, handling industry portals and market entries (e.g., MPANs and metering data).

Data Validation & Analysis: Audit, clean, and validate large datasets, ensuring absolute accuracy in asset performance and portfolio reporting. Resolve discrepancies, manage billing data, and support financial settlements. Build reporting tools and dashboards to track portfolio performance and identify operational bottlenecks. Streamline workflows and optimize internal data systems.

Experience: 1 to 3 years of commercial experience within the energy, utilities, settlements, metering, market operations, portfolio support, or trading operations sectors.

Excel Expertise: Advanced Excel skills are essential. You must be fully fluent in XLOOKUP, PivotTables, data validation, and handling large datasets.

Technical Bonus: Exposure to Power BI is strongly preferred; basic SQL or Python knowledge is a distinct advantage. High attention to detail, a talent for hitting tight deadlines, and a genuine eagerness to learn the nuances of energy flexibility and grid balancing.

Compensation: £42,000 – £46,000

Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) Hybrid working model based out of a London office.
