Lead Protection and Control Design Engineer – Transmission and Distribution Location: Midlands (1x per month) Package: £75-£90K + car and bonus Responsibilities: Subordinate to the Protection and Control Engineer, create Single Line Diagrams and Main Control/Protection designs. Conceptual design of AC/DC schematics for contestable and private networks for 132/400Kv for electrical protection systems Developing a comprehensive secondary design that encompasses AC/DC, general arrangements, interconnection, and many block diagrams. Creation of Core Sheets, Termination Diagrams, and Cable Schedules Essential criteria: 5 years experience of in Secondary design Experience with EHV substation projects up to 132-400Kv Experience with UK NGET and DNO Skilled secondary design schemes using AutoCAD for 132Kv, 275Kv, 400Kv Desirable criteria: Degree in Electrical
