Job Description
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Ansible, Ansible Tower, and Ansible Automation Platform to support large-scale automation initiatives within a banking environment. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing automation frameworks to ensure secure, reliable, and consistent infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Ansible-based automation solutions for configuration management, provisioning, and deployment.
- Maintain and scale Ansible Tower / Automation Platform across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support and enhance configuration drift detection and remediation in production systems.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and ensure high availability and compliance in banking systems.
- Drive process standardization and automation efficiency across global technology teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Automation, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Expert-level knowledge of Ansible, Ansible Tower, and Ansible Automation Platform.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Linux administration, network fundamentals, and infrastructure as code concepts.
- Experience working in regulated enterprise environments with a focus on security and compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Event-Driven Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud automation (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with banking domain processes, change management, and risk controls.
