Location: Seinäjoki, Finland (On-site)

We are currently seeking experienced QA/QC Managers for a major Data Centre project. Must have Data Centre Project Experience. Please note: We are hiring for two separate positions:

  • QA/QC Mechanical Manager
  • QA/QC Electrical Manager

Our client is currently unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement QA/QC strategies, inspection plans, and quality procedures.
  • Manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and commissioning teams.
  • Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
  • Track and close non-conformances (NCRs) and quality issues.
  • Ensure accurate handover documentation, including O&M manuals and as-built records.
  • Support client inspections, witness testing, and final acceptance processes.

Mechanical QA/QC Experience Required

  • HVAC (CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, cooling towers)
  • Cooling distribution systems (CHW/CDW pipework)
  • Fuel systems
  • Fire suppression systems
  • Building Management System (BMS) interfaces

Electrical QA/QC Experience Required

  • Power distribution (MV/LV)
  • UPS systems
  • Generators
  • Switchgear and transformers
  • Cabling and containment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of QA/QC, Project Engineering, or Construction Delivery experience.
  • Proven experience on Data Centre or Mission‑Critical projects.
  • Strong experience with Testing & Commissioning (T&C).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as ASHRAE, IEC, and ISO.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and document control skills.

Preferred

  • Hyperscale Data Centre experience.
  • Knowledge of Commissioning Levels 1-5 and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination, Digital QA/QC tools, and snagging platforms.
