Overview:

The Data Architect will play a key role in supporting Architecture Services by delivering essential capabilities to meet specific project requirements and assist DDTS project teams. The primary responsibility will focus on data cleansing, transformation, and migration activities. The Data Architect will also need to navigate unknown variables during the Discovery phase and provide an informed estimate for the migration timeline, considering factors such as potential temporary data repositories prior to system transition, especially with the looming deadline for Tranman’s discontinuation.

  • Focus on data cleansing, transformation, and migration for DDTS project teams.
  • Analyze Tranman data to identify migration activities (cleansing, restructuring, etc.) and ensure data security compliance.
  • Recommend a replacement for Tranman that can be implemented within project timelines.
  • Assess IT opportunities for service transformation, including database integration, de-duplication, and automation.
  • Collaborate with business resources to define responsibilities during the Discovery phase.
  • Review solutions for accessibility audits and identify necessary improvements.
  • Provide informed estimates for migration timelines and consider temporary data repository needs before system transition.
