Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from utility stakeholders. Work closely with business users, product owners, and technical teams to translate requirements into functional specifications. Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and impact assessment for market-related initiatives. Support implementation and enhancement of utility market systems and processes. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement elicitation sessions. Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and test scenarios. Collaborate with QA teams for UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution. Ensure compliance with utility industry regulations, market rules, and governance standards. Support change management activities and business process improvements. Mandatory Utilities Markets Knowledge Understanding of Electricity and Gas Markets . Knowledge of Wholesale and Retail Energy Markets . Familiarity with market mechanisms such as: Day-Ahead Market (DAM) Intraday Market (IDM) Balancing Mechanism Capacity Market Ancillary Services Knowledge of energy trading lifecycle and settlement processes. Understanding of market participants including Suppliers, Generators, Traders, DNOs/DSOs, TSOs, and Regulators. Experience working with utility market platforms and regulatory frameworks.
