Job Title: Automation Tester

Location: London/Sheffield

Employment Type: Contract

Rate: 425 GBP/day (Inside IR35)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for testing, quality assurance, and automation frameworks. You will play a key role in ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, etc.
2. Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
3. Execute regression, performance, and functional tests.
4. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand testing requirements.
5. Create comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases.
6. Analyze test results and provide clear, concise feedback.
7. Continuously improve automation frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

1. Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
2. Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
3. Experience with cloud-based testing environments like AWS Device Farm or Sauce Labs.
