Main Air Hygiene Technician Tasks:
  • Conduct Ventilation Hygiene Assessments.
  • Perform Ventilation and Kitchen Extract Cleaning following TR:19 guidelines.
  • Carry out Fire Damper Testing and Inspections in accordance with British Standards & Fire Safety regulations.
  • Monitor and sample Indoor Air Quality.
  • Inspect and maintain Local Exhaust Ventilation systems.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Relevant training certificates for air services.
  • Proven experience in air hygiene or related services.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility with working hours (including days, nights, and occasional weekends).
  • Willingness to travel and stay away when required.
  • DBS check required.
  • CSCS card (beneficial).
