We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our Supported Living team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with varying needs, helping them to live independently and achieve their personal goals. Your work will make a significant difference in the lives of those you support, fostering their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
You must have a valid right to work in the UK (we cannot offer any form of Sponsorship).
Responsibilities- Providing high quality care and support to clients with Learning Disabilities and Autism
- Promoting independence and assisting with skills for daily living
- Supporting with meal preparation and medication management
- Assisting with personal care needs
- Supporting clients to access the community and participate in their chosen activities
- Maintaining a safe home environment and assisting with cleaning duties
- Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Empathy and patience when working with individuals who may have complex needs.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
