Overview

Role: Sales Administrator in a fast-paced Landscape Construction company. The role provides administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal departments. The Sales Administrator will help manage the CRM, respond to inquiries, process enquiries, and assist with sales reporting to support the business’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including CRM, file storage and scheduling.
  • Manage incoming sales inquiries and provide timely responses to clients.
  • Maintain and update customer records and sales databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights into progress, targets, and performance.
  • Assist with maintaining project documentation in line with company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service.
  • Handle customer queries and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Liaise with clients to gather feedback and improve service offerings.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team, project managers, and other departments to ensure smooth communication.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments for the sales team.
  • Assist with scheduling site visits and coordinating project timelines as needed.
  • Ensure office supplies and materials for the sales team are maintained and readily available.
  • Maintain a filing system for all sales documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and promotional materials for client meetings or bids.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, such as preparing promotional materials and maintaining a customer contact list.
  • Help with the preparation of tender submissions and other sales-related documentation for bids and projects as required.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Proven background (3-5 years) in a Sales Admin/Business Development role or similar.
  • Industry experience within recreation/landscape/construction desirable; understanding of the tender process is a plus.
  • Based in a commutable distance of Dartford, Kent.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications and CRM systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and problem solve.
  • Team player with a flexible attitude.

Employment Details

This is a full-time role, located in Dartford, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm with a paid break. Your own transport to commute is essential and parking is available onsite. Salary is between £25k and £29k per annum depending on experience, with fantastic workplace benefits and opportunities for progression.
