We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team.

The Role

In this role, you will focus on strategically identifying and engaging new business opportunities within the construction and property management markets.

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and based at our Dartford office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities within the construction and property management markets, with a particular focus on Tier 1 contractors and developers.
  • Initiate and arrange meetings with decision makers in target client organisations to build key-client list.
  • Strategically develop relationships within existing client organisations.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive sustainable growth.
  • Further develop long-term pipeline of future works with support of Marketing and Sales departments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling presentations and pitches.
  • Research and attend relevant industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to raise the company's profile.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Work with the broader Sales team to meet sales targets and report on performance metrics.
  • Maintain CRM system.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record in business development within the construction, landscaping, or high-end property development sectors or similar.
  • Strong network of contacts within Tier 1 contractors, developers, and property consultants beneficial.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Well-presented with exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial project delivery, procurement processes, and pre-construction practices.
  • Self-motivated, driven, strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed across project sites and client offices.
