Executive Chef at a Private Country Club and full service restaurant located in New London, NH. Our candidate should be ready and willing to help increase customer satisfaction while simultaneously building and sustaining a positive, educational work environment.

We are looking for a leader who is willing to accept this great opportunity. A creative and passionate Working Executive Chef, proficient in all aspects of food preparation.

Executive Chef Responsibilities Include:

  1. Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities in all food outlets
  2. Modify menus and create new ones that meet quality standards
  3. Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
  4. Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
  5. Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  6. Recruit, promote and manage kitchen staff
  7. Rectify arising problems or complaints
  8. Perform administrative duties
  9. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  10. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements:

  1. Proven working experience as a head chef
  2. Excellent record of kitchen management
  3. Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  4. Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  5. Communication and leadership skills
  6. Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
  7. Serv-safe certified
  8. Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, MS Excel, restaurant management software, POS, etc.)
  9. Perform menu costing and inventory analysis/control in Excel formatting
  10. BS degree in culinary science or related certificate or equivalent working experiences
