Role Overview

The Clinic Supervisor is a member of the clinic management team at a Valley Cities (VC) clinic site. Reports directly to the Clinic Manager and indirectly to the Director of Outpatient Services. The role interfaces with management staff across the agency, leads a clinic team, and performs client-facing clinical work as needed. Assists the Clinic Manager in developing and sustaining relationships with multiple community partners and resources. Supports the organizational mission and vision, emphasising teamwork, trust, professionalism, efficiency, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Clinic Manager who leads a clinic team and ensures that clinic staff are aware of and following VC policies and procedures.
  • Provides overall support for operations at the direction of the Clinic Manager, including support for intakes, crisis management, hiring, and training.
  • Fosters a culture of collaboration, peer consultation, and commitment to professional improvement in conjunction with the Clinic Manager.
  • Interprets and evaluates staff reports, observes performance, and evaluates staff.
  • Works with the Clinic Manager to solve clinic-related issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy. MHP required, fully licensed preferred.
  • Experience managing, supervising, or leading within a clinic setting.
  • Ability to develop and support clinic staff.
