Helpers Homecare Merton are recruiting and expanding their Care Worker teams! We are one of two prime providers in the area contracted with Merton council. We are looking for Health Care Assistants to join our already established teams in the local communities of: CR4, CR7, SM4, SM5, SW16, SW17.

We have both part time and full time positions available for care workers, working shift patterns of:

  • Mornings 7am-3pm
  • Evenings 3pm-10pm
  • With alternative weekends of work

You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.

Job Description:

  • Helping service users overcome any mobility problems
  • Support with administering medication
  • Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
  • Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
  • Assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements
  • Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements:

  • Have a right to work within the UK
  • No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
