We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive business models and analytical strategies. Reporting directly to the Global Finance Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising client activities, producing insightful reports, and providing expertise across various business functions. This role requires a combination of financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting, budgeting and monitoring the company's performance.
Responsibilities:
- Business Model Development: Create and maintain comprehensive financial models to support business growth initiatives, including forecasting, identifying trends, and pricing strategies. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and presentations. Collaborate with department heads to review financial performance and implement improvements. Conduct variance analysis between actual results and forecasts and identify key drivers of performance.
- Budget and Forecasting: Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with the sales team. Provide ongoing reporting on revenue forecasts, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Pricing Strategy: Review current pricing metrics across all products. Assist with the development and implementation of pricing models to optimize product pricing and maximize revenue. Provide strategic insights based on pricing analysis to contribute to overall business strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing models align with overall business goals.
- Adhoc Projects and Support: Assist with adhoc projects as required. Provide support and coverage across the finance team as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA / ACCA accountant with a minimum of 5 years experience with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Solid experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), Business Partnering, and providing support to CFOs/FDs.
- Ability to think strategically and provide high-level insights, while also being hands-on and involved in the details as necessary.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficient in financial modelling, with the capability to develop and maintain complex financial models.
- Exceptional business partnering skills, fostering collaboration across different departments.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and competent in PowerPoint for effective communication of financial insights.
