Whether you are a recent graduate ready to launch a career in sales, or a junior professional with some commercial experience, this role offers the foundation to build an exceptional career in financial services and fintech sales. You will be on the front line of our growth, identifying and qualifying prospects, engaging senior decision-makers, and building pipeline for our senior sales team. You will develop deep knowledge of financial risk management and private capital markets, positioning yourself as a trusted voice in a highly specialised niche.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and research target accounts across private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and corporate sectors, building strategic outreach plans into C-suite and senior finance executives.
  • Execute multi-channel outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn) to generate qualified meetings and pipeline for the senior sales team.
  • Articulate the Validus value proposition clearly and compellingly across complex financial solutions.
  • Qualify sales opportunities against an agreed Qualification framework and via a defined sales handover process.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track activity metrics, and report on pipeline progress.

Who We're Looking For

We hire for drive, curiosity, and grit. You do not need to be a sales or financial expert on day one, but you should be hungry to become one. We are open to candidates at all levels of experience, from graduates to early-career professionals. You'll thrive in this role if you are:

  • Entrepreneurial and self-disciplined.
  • Resilient and tenacious – always looking to improve.
  • Intellectually curious & excited by change.

  • A resilient disposition and natural communicator.
  • Able to build rapport quickly and adapt your style to senior, sophisticated audiences.
  • Looking to develop your sales skills by mastering value positioning and proficiency in proven sales methodologies.
  • A team player – collaborative, humble, and invested in collective success as much as individual performance.
  • Strategically minded – you think before you act, and prefer smart, targeted outreach.
  • Ambitious – you want a career in sales/financial services and see this role as a launchpad, not just a job.

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Exposure to, or interest in, financial markets, hedging, private equity.
  • Prior experience in a sales, business development, or a commercial role.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary with an attractive bonus/commission structure.
  • Structured onboarding and ongoing training in both sales skills and financial markets.
  • Clear progression pathway into Account Executive and senior commercial roles.
  • Exposure to a specialist, high-value niche market working with sophisticated institutional clients.
