Transformation Consultant Developer Experience

We are seeking a dynamic Transformation Consultant in delivering transformation consulting services within Valiantys, focusing on Developer Experience (DevEx). Reporting to the Transformation Consulting Director, this role is responsible for executing transformation initiatives that enhance developer productivity, streamline software delivery processes, and align development operations with business objectives. The Transformation Consultant will work closely with clients to assess, design, and implement improvements in DevEx areas, including tooling, workflows, automation, collaboration, and AI driven development acceleration. Additionally, they will contribute to the presales process, helping to shape solutions that align with client needs and Valiantys’ transformation strategy.

Things you'll be working on:

• Design and implement DevEx solutions, leveraging the Atlassian ecosystem and adjacent technologies;
• Support transformation projects;
• Integrate AI-driven solutions and automation to enhance efficiency in software development processes;
• Ensure transformation solutions align with governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Client Engagement & Presales

• Participate in presales engagements;
• Conduct discovery sessions, assessments, and proof-of-value engagements;
• Collaborate with sales and marketing;
• Engage with senior stakeholders, development teams, and IT leadership to align transformation initiatives with business goals.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work closely with Transformation Consulting Directors and other internal teams;
• Contribute to the development of reusable assets, playbooks, and accelerators that enhance delivery efficiency;
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developer productivity trends, DevOps methodologies, AI-powered engineering, and platform engineering practices;
• Act as a trusted advisor on Atlassian-powered transformation projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced consultant who is passionate about developer productivity, modern software engineering practices, and IT transformation. You have studied computer science, information science/technology and have a proven track record in DevEx and software development transformation. You are familiar with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Compass, etc.) and adjacent DevOps platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, ...). You have demonstrated a strong ability to work across cross-functional teams and transformation practices to deliver end-to-end solutions. This role is open to candidates located in Paris or London. Hybrid work is supported, but the ability to travel occasionally for client engagements or internal meetings is required. Fluency in the local language is mandatory based on office location (e.g., French for Paris, English for London). In addition, candidates must have full English proficiency, as it is the company’s main working language.
