Valiant Pub Company is looking for an experienced and driven Pub Operator or Management Couple to take the reins at the Barge & Bottle in Sleaford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pub operator or ambitious General Manager who is ready to take the next step and run a business with greater autonomy - without the significant financial commitment of taking on a traditional pub tenancy.
The opportunity
The Barge & Bottle is an established Sleaford pub with both food and wet sales, offering plenty of opportunity for the right operator to build sales, develop the customer offer and make the business their own.
As a Valiant operator, you’ll be self-employed and earn a competitive percentage of the pub’s net takings, giving you a direct financial benefit from growing the business.
Valiant provides the pub and ongoing support, while you take responsibility for delivering a fantastic customer experience and leading the day-to-day operation.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Lead and motivate a pub team
- Deliver great standards across both food and drink
- Build a strong reputation within the local community
- Drive sales through events, occasions and local marketing
- Control labour and operate commercially
- Maintain excellent standards of service, cleanliness and compliance
- Treat the pub as their own business and identify opportunities to grow it
You might already be running pubs on an operator agreement, or you could be an experienced Pub Manager, General Manager or Management Couple looking for the opportunity to take the next step.
