About the Role
This is a varied and hands‑on role that combines property inspections, compliance monitoring, facilities support, defect reporting and property standards management across our portfolio. You will become the eyes and ears of the business, helping us identify issues early, maintain high standards and ensure our residents live in safe and welcoming environments. This role would suit someone with experience in property, housing, hospitality, facilities management, caretaking, maintenance, compliance inspections or building management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly inspections of supported accommodation and residential properties.
- Complete property standards and compliance checks.
- Identify, photograph and report maintenance issues.
- Monitor communal areas to ensure they remain clean, safe and presentable.
- Carry out light‑touch communal cleaning where required.
- Complete visual health and safety inspections.
- Carry out visual fire safety checks, including fire doors, signage, emergency lighting and escape routes.
- Monitor property presentation and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Prepare rooms and communal areas for new residents.
- Assist with move‑in and move‑out property checks.
- Check and replenish communal consumables where required.
- Liaise with contractors and report progress on repairs.
- Maintain accurate records, photographs and inspection reports using company systems.
- Escalate urgent property, health and safety or safeguarding concerns appropriately.
- Support the wider management team in maintaining high standards across the portfolio.
