We are seeking an experienced Projects Manager to support the delivery, governance and quality of our forecourt branding and signage programme. This is a key role within the Brand Team, providing hands‑on operational oversight across suppliers, project delivery partners and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier performance, overseeing project execution, maintaining quality and compliance standards, and supporting broader brand initiatives across Valero and Texaco retail sites.
Responsibilities
- Oversee performance, output and compliance of Valero’s signage manufacturing and installation partners.
- Manage delivery and service performance of the signage refresh provider.
- Conduct regular supplier reviews, site visits and performance assessments.
- Ensure suppliers meet agreed standards for quality, safety, timelines and cost control.
Project Management Oversight
- Act as the day‑to‑day operational point of contact for Project Management Company.
- Ensure delivery of all agreed project management services, brand policing activities and the site cleaning programme.
- Review and challenge scopes of work, costs, schedules and change requests.
- Monitor performance against contractual and brand obligations.
Project Delivery
- Oversee the successful delivery of branding projects.
- Track and manage performance against project timelines, budgets and quality standards.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across Brand, Operations and other teams.
- Identify risks and support practical solutions to maintain delivery momentum.
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain high standards of brand execution through site visits, audits and project reviews.
- Lead quality assurance activity, including supplier and contractor reviews.
- Ensure compliance with Valero brand standards, health & safety and operational requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Supporting the Brand Team.
- Digital & Loyalty Programme Support (Ad‑Hoc).
- Contribute to retailer communication & engagement.
- Database, Asset & Brand Governance Support.
Qualifications
- Degree (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
- Multi-site retail, Forecourt or construction related environments.
- Strong experience managing contractors, suppliers or project delivery.
- A practical, detail focused approach.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to sites across the UK.
- Experience in branding, construction, signage, retail environments or project operations would be highly advantageous.
