Oversee and manage specialist contractor visits to site.
Participate in the weekly build of the RMES schedule from an execution and technical perspective.
Strive to achieve our RMES key metrics.
Provide leadership to direct the team in safe, efficient execution of the committed RMES maintenance schedule.
Promote a culture that does not accept equipment or system failure and investigates using reliability tools to develop innovative solutions.
Be responsible for the 61511 lifecycle, focusing on the execution and recording of SIS proof testing.
Ensure maintenance work orders are implemented in a safe and productive manner.
Provide work direction to Technicians under their supervision, to ensure the highest level of safety, productivity, work quality and reliability.
Communicate daily activities related to staffing, accomplishments and delays/barriers to the business units/management.
Review procedures for Preventative Maintenance Tasks and update frequency and context as required.
Provide training, development and performance management of Technicians under their supervision.
Allocate Break In/First pass work on a daily basis.
Oversee designated area work activities during unit turnarounds and outages and reports to turnaround supervision.
Complete EMOCs for technology changes and minor modifications.
Provide a high level of troubleshooting skills and support Technicians in solving complex equipment problems.
Determine the most efficient and safest work methods.
Communicate status of ongoing work and staffing needs with management on a daily basis.
Maintain good written records and utilise SAP effectively.
Commit to providing out of hours on-call cover and work extended hours during busy periods.
Work 12 hour days or nights, including weekends and holidays during turnaround work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have completed an apprenticeship or other relevant recognised training programme as a minimum, and HNC qualified in a relevant field is desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years post qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
- EngTech status with a relevant institution is desirable.
