Overview
Responsible for the safe execution of maintenance activities on Analyser systems located in a hazardous area environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform work activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
- Carry out fault location, repair, calibration and maintenance of all Process Analyser systems and Sample Conditioning systems.
- Carry out preventative maintenance (PMs) and proof test procedures on safety-related Analyser systems.
- Carry out inspection and maintenance of hazardous area equipment.
- Demonstrate ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and wiring schematics.
- Troubleshoot and repair DCS/PLC related failures.
- Understand loop powered vs. field powered.
- Possess a basic understanding of the following Analysers:
- Servomex / Rosemount / Enotech O2 and CO
- ICON physical property analysers
- Ametek / Western Research 900 Taill gas / Air demand
- Ametek IPS-4 Photometric Feed forward
- Fisher Scientific SOLA II Total Sulphur
- Analect HSS FTIR Gasoline Spectrometers
- Grabner / ABB RVP PAC NSURE Total Sulphur
- ABB URAS / LIMAS / ZFG2-continuous emissions monitoring
- PH / Conductivity / Water hardness / Dissolved Oxygen
Qualifications
- Must have completed an apprenticeship or other relevant recognised training programme.
- Previous experience working in the oil and gas, or other continuous process industry is advantageous.
- HNC qualified in a relevant field is desirable.
- Must hold, or be working towards CompEx accreditation.
- EngTech status with a relevant institution is desirable.
