We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in FMCG or food production who can confidently set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and optimise production machinery to meet output and quality targets
- Carry out product changeovers, machine adjustments, and line start-ups/shut-downs
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical or process issues to minimise downtime
- Conduct routine machine checks and basic fault finding
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Support and guide entry-level operators where required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5S standards
