Job Description
Buzzed about quality? We need YOU! We are looking for a Quality Systems Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to join our team in Wallingford. You’ll be the guardian of all things sweet and systematic, ensuring that the processes, procedures, and standards that keep our honey flowing smoothly are not just followed, but optimized—because only the best will do for our bees (and our customers!).
Key duties:
- Maintenance and communication of the site Food Safety and Quality Manual (FSQM) systems.
- Management of retail and consumer customer complaints system for the site and ensure responses and corrective actions are adequate and timely and reports are generated.
- To manage the generation of KPI reports for customers in line with their requirements.
- To ensure all systems are monitored in line with Customer COP requirements and that records of these activities are maintained in line with company, customer and legal requirements and incorporated into the internal audit system.
- Management of COA's for co-packed products and maintenance of traceability of incoming finished product.
- Complete admin for the honey product list issuing and control.
- To produce routine and non-routine reports as required by Management.
- TACCP team member/leader and deputies for the team leader.
- Conduct regular 1:1’s with direct reports and agree performance objectives and conduct appraisals.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Food Science or related discipline or previous experience in role.
- Experience in retailer quality systems.
- BRC Compliance and audits aware.
- HACCP level 3.

- Organised and able to both multi-task and prioritise effectively.
- Knowledge of HACCP Principles.
- Knowledge and experience of systems.
- A working knowledge of food production techniques.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work on own and as part of a team.
- Good supervisory and communication skills with the ability manage a team to work to deadlines and use initiative.
- Computer literate.
- A logical and methodical approach.

- Salary: up to £49,600 per annum.
- Location: Wallingford (2/3 days on site, hybrid role).
- Hours: Full-time.
