At Valeo Foods UK, we’re proud to make some of the UK’s favourite food brands.
Our Wallingford site is home to Rowse Honey, where we manufacture and produce the honey enjoyed by households across the UK and beyond.
- We’re looking for a
- Quality Systems Co-ordinator to join our Technical team on a
12 month fixed term contract and help us maintain the high standards of food safety, quality and brand integrity that our customers and consumers expect.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll support the Quality Systems Manager across quality systems, customer complaints, audits, honey testing, compliance and reporting.
- What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the maintenance and continual improvement of our Food Safety and Quality Manual (FSQM).
- Helping ensure the Wallingford site meets BRC, customer and legal requirements.
- Coordinating the internal audit programme and tracking corrective actions through to completion.
- Managing and reporting on customer complaints and quality KPIs.
- Supporting customer visits, technical audits and customer quality plans.
- Checking and recording raw honey testing results, working closely with external laboratories and keeping IFS up to date.
- Supporting technical export documentation and general Technical team activities.
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate quality records and systems.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about quality, with a great eye for detail.
Ideally, you’ll have
- Experience in a quality, technical or food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP and awareness of BRC requirements and audits.
- Experience with retailer quality systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT and systems skills.
