Job Description
We're currently looking for an experienced Senior Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team at our Blackpool site. This is a key role in ensuring we continue to provide a safe and sustainable workplace, aligned with our company values and operational standards.
In this role, you'll lead the delivery of our HSE strategy on site, ensuring full compliance with all legal requirements and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with operational teams and central functions, you'll help embed a proactive safety culture where best practice is second nature and safety is always front of mind.
You'll be responsible for managing systems and procedures that support a safe working environment for colleagues, contractors and visitors. You'll also play a central role in incident investigation, risk assessments, training and reporting, all while building strong relationships across the site to support practical and effective solutions.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) as a minimum
- Demonstrable experience in a similar HSE leadership role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG
- Strong working knowledge of current HSE legislation and best practice
- Experience managing people, systems and compliance processes
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business
- Confidence in delivering training and driving cultural change
- Clear, practical communication and problem-solving skills
